SI
A brief review of what Structural Integration (SI) accomplishes and why you
will love it.

SI is about creating balance in the body. Balance within the body from the
deep core structures to the arms and legs, balance of the mind to the body,
balance of the human to the earth within the gravitational field.

SI is about posture. Slouching is not your body being lazy; it is a
necessary compensation for the dysfunctional patterns in your connective
tissue. The actual anatomical connections of the feet relating to the
pelvis, the pelvis relating to the sacrum and spine, and the neck relating
to the head can easily be changed for the better permanently. I de-rotate
these joints via working with the thick fascial connective tissue web that
binds joints together. One side of a joint will be tighter than the other
(think 3 dimensionally). I will loosen the tight side to make them even so
the entire range of motion of the joint can be used again. My techniques
bring more hydration to dried out tissue that you may be experiencing as
knots or dense areas. I help bring these areas back to a healthy
consistency.

SI is about human potential. Your own human potential. We will work
together to sort out past traumas and holding patterns that will allow you
to feel your body more. This in turn diminishes the anxiety in your nervous
system and you will feel better, healthier and more alive.

SI is about prevention. Keeping your joints healthy and well nourished will
help you get the most out of your body. Any past injuries and surgeries
that are still giving you problems, whether it is conscious or not, will be
integrated and returned to a pre-injured state.

SI is about education. Education involves learning how to move, sit, stand,
and walk properly for the first time. Too much damage comes from sitting
improperly and repetitive stress injuries. Ergonomics is key to maintaining
SI after you have completed your treatment.

SI is about expansion. Expansion of you body, mind, and heart. Love flows
much easier through a body that is not wound tight from chronic pain.

SI is done in a 10 session series that lasts about an hour and costs $200 each.
I am offering a 40-minute posture exam and session of the
work through the 3rd month of 2010 for $125.
