Healing Cancer is an information packed documentary that is trying to tell the very important hidden story behind Cancer. Through great archival footage, Mike Anderson has done his research and makes valid judgements with the statistics available today. Inspired by his father’s death from cancer and the fact that his doctor would have gone to jail if he prescribed natural treatments for his disease, Anderson dives down the rabbit hole of the state of cancer disease care in this country. Why do we use cancer causing treatments to cure cancer?

90% of cancers are completely immune to chemotherapy yet it is still the main avenue of treatment. Chemotherapy is effective in 2-3% of all cancer patients, primarily the rarest kind of cancer. Not much has changed in the last 20 years.

Yet 60% get radiation, 67% get surgery, and 80% get chemotherapy. But why do we continue this course of treatment? $$$$$$$$.

Chemotherapy doesn’t work well because there will always be a few cancer cells that are resistant and will slowly grow back over the next 5 years. You cannot heal with poison. So there is only a continuation of the original disease. When you deal with local tumors you miss the global disease in the body. Chemo raises the incidence of secondary tumors – and this is because chemo is one of the most toxic drug out there. Most oncologists would not take chemo if they themselves had cancer even though the FDA considers it safe and effective. A major side effect of chemo is death. How do we give dangerous toxic treatments to patients without showing any results better than a placebo sugar pill?

Cancer is the only disease that is considered cured if you live for 5 years. The National Cancer Institute and the American Cancer Society have been claiming that the cure for cancer is right around the corner since 1953! How many billions have been funneled down this path with little progress in the treatment of cancer. Cancer is the number one disease killer at around 500,000 US citizens a year.

The National Cancer Institute, backed by the American Cancer Society has blocked alternative research and natural treatments for decades.

The American Medical Association has done its job destroying all competition for the allopathic doctors, and has even been convicted of conspiracy to destroy the Osteopaths, Chiropractors, and Homeopaths by the supreme court of this country. Operating under the guise of truly providing health care for the citizens of this country, this health care system is nothing more then a highly profitable palliative care delivery system which has conveniently named the disease, developed patented synthetic treatments for said disease, and monoplized and privatized the system for caring for this disease.

The placebo effect is the bastardization of the human bodies natural self healing response. It carries a 30% effective value among any treatment when the patient thinks they are being treated (whether with a sugar pill or the real thing). So in essence doing anything gives the person a 30% success rate – a much higher rate then almost all western treatments for cancer. Wow, that is a scary fact. When the body is sick, diseased or off-balance, the body is the only thing that fixes whatever may have gone wrong and steers the body back to balance. When it comes to drugs it’s wrong to assume that prescription drug X when administered has corrected symptom Y. We don’t know that this effect proves the drug worked or that is was a mere coincidence and that the body healed itself. We never know. The pharmaceutical companies use what Anderson calls “rubber numbers” to manipulate studies to their benefit. He wants us to look at absolute numbers in studies and not the spinster relative numbers researchers use to skew results in their favor.

Having disempowered and denied people of a proper education on how to maintain proper health, they only can seek help from a white coat doctor with his magic chemical pills. And they have relatively little health care information about what foods make us sick. This is quite a nice pyramid of profits for the industrial food producers, their retail branches (Coca Cola, Dorittos, Cheesecake Factory, etc.), the health care industry, and big pharma.

Natural remedies show extermely positive results when the immune system has not been poisoned, especially when never having had any traditional toxic treatments. The reports from the otherside that claim that many of these natural remedies don’t work cannot be provided under the Freedom of Information Act when requested. This is because they don’t exist and never existed. Particularly in Dr. Max Gerson’s program his studies where suppressed. Harry Hoxsey was also venerated by the courts that his treatments where as effective as allopathic treatments without the toxic side effects. All of his treatment centers where closed down overnight when he refused to sell out to the AMA.

What is cancer?

The malignant tumor is the expression that something is wrong – much like the idiot lights warning the driver that there is a problem in the car. If you turn off the lights – is the problem fixed? Does someone really only have cancer once the tumor appears? Cancer cells are circulatiing throughout your body at all times – we live with cancer. Your immune system is constantly destroying these cells. But it only takes one cell to escape detection for cancer to get a hold. Once it sets up shop – it takes about 8 years to reach 4 billion cells (about the time it becomes detectable by modern medicine). Instead of early detection we actually only have late detection methods. Doctors frighten the patient into a quick treatment when the reality is cancer is a very slow growing disease. It is about 10 years old once discovered and you’ve got about another 10-20 years before it will actually kill you.
