Natural Cure for Lyme Disease

15th July 2009

Borrelia Burgdorferi
Lyme disease has been a topic of much discussion in my life these days, maybe it is summers arrival or maybe because everyone has it. The symptoms associated with Lyme are probably from a total body infestation of a myriad of parasites that accompany the spyrocete - Borrelia Burgdorferi. The site Lyme Photos has put up a collection of parasites photographed under a microscope that were found exiting the researchers body as he used the natural treatment of salt and vitamin C plus sunshine to rid the offenders from his body. This is ingenuity at it’s best. He (the researcher is anonymous but I assume he is male since he picked up the infection playing golf in 1989) looked at what animals in nature use to heal themselves - salt. Combined with the anti-parasitic and self-healing effects from Vitamin C, he had his cure. And folks it doesn’t get safer and cheaper than this cure. Ample glasses of water to keep the body hydrated will flush any excess from the body with no risk of overdose.

Why it works: Parasites hate salt. It’s natures remedy. It desiccates them. The average human consumed about 20 grams of salt a day for probably 100,000 years. Since the 1970’s salt has been misleadingly linked to hypertension and high blood pressure (its got more to do with overall diet, lack of movement, and the processing of iodized table salt in processed foods). The only other time in history salt consumption was so low was during the Dark Ages - look what happened there.

Psychologist Kim Johnson links salt to mood:

“Things that normally would be pleasurable for [salt deprived] rats didn’t elicit the same degree of relish, which leads us to believe that a salt deficit and the craving associated with it can induce one of the key symptoms associated with depression.”

The treatment for Lyme (and other parasitic infections) that is suggested is around 12 grams of non-processed Salt (no table salt people!) with the addition of 12,000 mg of Vitamin C. For an adult, split this up into 4 doses a day of 3 grams salt + 3,000 mg of Vitamin C. Plus at least 15 minutes of sunshine (without sunblock!). The treatment could take 2-3 years if you have been sick for sometime.

Your Posture Tells The World What You Think About Yourself

13th July 2009

PostureYou know you’ve seen yourself hunched over in a reflection walking on the street in New York city many times. So you pull your shoulders back, suck in your stomach, and get your head on straight and hold this posture for about three storefronts before you are slouched back over in the next reflection down the block.

It’s not your fault. You can’t easily present yourself the way you would like to be seen - your fascia is holding you back. Fascia, or connective tissue, exists everywhere in your body and forms a 4-dimensional spider web - yes it changes over time so let us not forget this important dimension. It determines your structure, your posture, the placement of everything in your body. It may not be technically “alive”, but it does have an enormous amount of living cells within its matrix and we would be an amoeba without it. It is primarily composed of collagen fibers, extracellular matrix, fibroblasts, and mechanoreceptors (cells that measure the pressure and stretch in tissue and tell the brain what is happening). Your brain creates a sense of proprioception (where you are in space) from this communication. What you think and experience as balanced and aligned probably is not so. Bad habits, joint misalignments, and muscle weakness can overpower your brains desire for proper balance and you end up with you debauched kinesthesia (confusion of proper balance). This is where Structural Integration serves us best. Shortened tissue needs to be physically lengthened, the joints suffering from misalignment need to be unwound, and your brain needs to re-learn what straight is.

Public Health Care Will Kill People???

12th July 2009

Come on Doctor Broun, you and your doctor cohorts already kill 225,000 people a year! The shameful truth is that 3 out of 4 people whom I have know personally who have passed on died because of iatrogenic reasons (doctor inflicted). This is unacceptable. But when you are playing with knives and super chemicals these things are common place. So common that only heart disease and cancer claim more lives a year. Personally I believe the number is closer to 3x higher but this study is peer-reviewed and was published in JAMA so we will use this.

List of Deaths from JAMA:
12,000 — unnecessary surgery
7,000 — medication errors in hospitals
20,000 — other errors in hospitals
80,000 — infections in hospitals
106,000 — non-error, negative effects of drugs

Previous 2001 Calculation:
Condition Deaths Cost
Adverse Drug Reactions 106,000 $12 billion
Medical error 98,000 $2 billion
Bedsores 115,000 $55 billion
Infection 88,000 $5 billion
Malnutrition 108,800 ——–
Outpatients 199,000 $77 billion
Unnecessary Procedures 37,136 $122 billion
Surgery-Related 32,000 $9 billion
TOTAL 783,936 $282 billion

I’m not sure what I even want to say here - but the point is we need to reform the entire system from the ground up. I have little faith that this will happen in my lifetime. Unless… I take care of myself and avoid doctors as much as possible - I may live extra long to see something good come out of all this.

From Families USA:

In 2002, the Institute of Medicine released a groundbreaking report, Care without Coverage: Too Little, Too Late, which estimated that 18,000 adults nationwide died in 2000 because they did not have health insurance. Subsequently, The Urban Institute estimated that 22,000 adults died in 2006 because they did not have health insurance.

Hobbling Big Brother’s Message

12th July 2009

6 Corporations control all conventional media outlets and thus all media has the potential to be filtered accordingly to benefit their corporate interests. This is a great presentation by Clay Shirkey on how social networking has circumvented this blackball effect and could signify the new media landscape we need to get the real truth out about so many important things you may never hear about.
